Blaupunkt Frankfurt (1954-)

In 1954 Blaupunkt introduced their new modell, the famous Frankfurt.

There has always been U, M and L wave lenghts in Frankfurt, and in 50's the pushbutton line was UUMML. In 1961 it was turned to the other way around, and now it was LMMUU. In 1966 also the K wave length was added to Frankfurt, and the line was now LMKUU. In the mid 50's the pushbuttons of Blaupunkt radios were thick, about 2 cm high. Later in the end of 50's, pushbuttons get thinner, about 1,5 cm high. In early 60's pushbuttons get thinner again, now only obout 1 cm high.
